INGREDIENTS
Apple Cutter or knife
1 apple (cored & sliced)
Peanut butter
Puffed Rice cereal or Rice Krispies
Raisins
INSTRUCTIONS
Have an adult slice the apples into slices using a knife or apple cutter.
Pat apple slices dry on napkin.
Spread one side of each apple slice with peanut butter.*
Top with another slice, peanut butter side down, and squeeze gently so some peanut butter squishes out!
Place 10-12 pieces of cereal into the peanut butter. These are the healthy teeth!
Repeat steps 3-5 using cereal interspersed with raisins. The dark teeth are unhealthy teeth that have had too much sugar and now have cavities.
*Note to Parents: Thickly spread peanut butter may pose a choking risk for children under the age of three. If your child is allergic to peanuts, use cream cheese or other nut butter substitute.
