Medium sized bag/bucket 

A place to walk that is rich in nature

Paper

Glue

Optional: Crayons, markers, colored pencils and/or other craft supplies that your child likes

Directions: Go on a nature walk. Allow your child to pick up objects from nature such as rocks, bark, grass, leaves, flowers, acorn nuts, etc. Place items into your collecting bag/bucket to take back home. As you walk along, encourage your child to talk about what he/she sees and hears in nature. Allow him/her to observe and ask questions. When you return home, set out the art tools and create a collage of the nature walk.
